Closing conference of the “Improving Migration Management in the Silk Routes (IMM)” project

Istanbul, Turkey: On 25th and 26th April 2022, the closing conference for the “Improving Migration Management in the Silk Routes (IMM)”project is taking place in Istanbul, Turkey. This event is bringing together participants from the European Commission, European Union member states as well as representatives from Silk Routes and Central Asian Countries. This includes Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan and Tajikistan, as well as civil society organisations and ICMPD.

The purpose of the closing conference is to raise awareness of the results achieved within the framework of the “Improving Migration Mangement in the Silk Routes” project among all partners. This meeting is also discussing the lessons learned, good practices, innovations,
impact and synergies with similar programmes. The objective is to feed these findings into future programming and ongoing migration management in the Silk Routes region (and neighbouring countries).
