REINTEGRATION OF RETURNING MIGRANTS IN TAJIKISTAN

Dushanbe, Tajikistan: In Tajikistan our partner Mercy Corps produced a video that was broadcast on national television to provide information on the work of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of Population in supporting returning migrants.

The video explains how returnee migrants can access support from the Ministry and the benefits that it can provide in terms of matching returning migrants to jobs which match their skills and qualifications as well as providing training in order to obtain a diploma or learn a new profession. The Ministry also advises on how returnees should manage their savings and invest them in business activities.
